Atlanta Convention"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-caption-dd\">George Zoni and Nathalie Meunier were in Atlanta last week to attend the 3rd annual Siemens Workers&#8217; Convention.\u00a0 This convention brings together\u00a0people from Canada, the US and Germany in order to discuss the current issues facing workers at Siemens facilities.\u00a0 HR representatives from the US were on on-hand to give updates on the current situations in the US.\u00a0 This event is organized by Randy Middleton of the IBEW, and facilitated by Harald Kern and Dirk Linder from Germany.\u00a0 Harald is a member of the supervisory board with Siemens AG.\u00a0 Members from the IAMAW, IBEW, UAW, USW and the IUE-CWA were all in attendance, including Fred Labelle and Stephane Guillemette of IAMAW Local
